NextTurn is a production-grade platform built to modernize how organizations manage citizen flow and service delivery. It digitizes appointment booking, queue handling, real-time monitoring, and analytics so teams can reduce waiting times and make better operational decisions.

Designed as an enterprise-level 3rd-year college capstone project, it demonstrates modular monolith architecture, multi-tenant capabilities, and a professional testing strategy.

Problem addressed

Public-facing services often struggle with long queues, unclear wait times, poor resource allocation, and limited visibility into operational performance. NextTurn replaces those manual bottlenecks with a digitized workflow that helps both citizens and service teams move faster and stay informed.

The platform supports organizations such as government offices, hospitals, service centers, banks, and universities.

Leadership and delivery

I led a cross-functional team of 4 as both Team Lead and Project Manager, owning architecture decisions, sprint planning, requirements gathering, and team coordination.

Team members rotated through backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA responsibilities each sprint to reduce knowledge silos and keep delivery resilient.

Technology and architecture

Built with .NET 10, React 18+, Entity Framework Core, and Azure infrastructure, the system uses a modular monolith architecture with multi-tenant isolation and a CQRS pattern.

The backend exposes 20+ RESTful API endpoints and is documented with OpenAPI for maintainability and developer clarity.

Quality and testing

The project was delivered with more than 80% code coverage and a 6-layer testing strategy covering unit, integration, contract, E2E smoke, regression, and load testing.

That test coverage was part of the capstone's production-ready standard, not an afterthought, and helped validate behavior across the entire release pipeline.

Outcome

Across 4 sprints, NextTurn was deployed to production through zero-touch automated CI/CD using GitHub Actions. The result is a scalable, multi-tenant system with GDPR-conscious design and a polished operational workflow.

The final platform shows how queue management can be transformed from a manual process into a measurable, data-driven service.
